OMAHA – Collin Wyler will put on his own performance in front of thousands before Game 6 of the “greatest show on dirt.”
This UNO College of Business Administration student is singing the national anthem at the 2016 College World Series on Monday, June 20.
Monday marks his fourth CWS appearance as a national anthem singer.
“My favorite part about singing the national anthem is honoring our country and flag,” says Wyler, a junior who is studying marketing.
A native of Papillion, Nebraska, Wyler serves as president of UNO’s award-winning chapter of Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization and works as a sales development representative at Sojern, one of the fastest growing travel tech companies with offices around the world, including right here in Omaha.
The 2016 College World Series kicks off on Friday, June 17, at TD Ameritrade Park with several opening celebration activities.
Games begin on Saturday, June 18. Game 6 is set for Monday, June 20, at 6 p.m. See the full schedule.
