The University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO) and the Verdis Group are creating a Sustainability Master Plan to prioritize near- and long-term strategies to improve UNO's use of resources in ways that are cost-effective, socially-equitable, and environmentally responsible. Your opinions and ideas are important to us during this planning process; UNO is giving students, faculty, staff, and community members the chance to provide their input into the plan.

About UNO Sustainability
UNO is dedicated to exploring ways of introducing sustainability to our campus. The UNO Sustainability Committee is the re-organized UNO Green Task Force that was orignianlly created in fall 2008, and strives for sustainability on the UNO campus.
Sustainability is simply living in such a way that future generations can do the same. This means we must practice stewardship of our resources so that we, and those that follow after us, may continue to enjoy good health, prosperity and a healthy planet. UNO is dedicated to exploring ways of introducing sustainability to our campus. Its goal is to assist the campus in using less energy and resources and to conserve energy in a realistic, cost effective manner.
