Looking to attend the University of Nebraska Omaha (UNO), but need to take the ACT, the TOEFL, the GRE, or placement tests?
The UNO Testing Center provides a variety of services to UNO students, faculty and staff, and the greater Omaha community.
These services include UNO Placement Exams; national exams; testing to help determine career interests, abilities and personality; testing assistance for students with disabilities; Credit by Examination; and others. The UNO Testing Center strives to maintain standardized procedures and a sensitivity to the individual examinee.
Online test information may not include all test parameters; examinees can obtain additional printed information or clarification from the Testing Center, Kayser Hall 522, 402.554.4800. The center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

ACT Assessment, & ACT Assessment Plus Writing
The ACT measures skills in English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning.
Examinees may register for either of two Test Options -- the ACT Assessment or ACT Assessment Plus Writing, which includes a 30-minute Writing Test.
Registration and informational materials, including prices, are available at the Testing Center; online registration is available via the ACT website. Standby testing also is available.

Institutional Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
The UNO Institutional TOEFL is open to persons currently participating in the University's Intensive Language Program (ILUNO) or other UNO-affiliated programs. No test transcript service is available. Other candidates should register for the Internet-based TOEFL (iBT). Registration for the Institutional TOEFL is at International Studies, ASH, Room 241, UNO. Information about the test location will be given to candidates when they register. The test fee is $50.00 (subject to change).

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE), Law School Admission Test (LSAT), Pre-Professional Skills Test(PPST) and Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFT iBT) are administered by the UNO Testing Center.
