Biography
Dana Richter-Egger is the Director of the Math Science Learning Center at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He teaches courses in general chemistry and chemistry of the environment and society. He received his Ph.D. (2001) from the University of Missouri and B.S. (1997) from Doane College. Richter-Egger’s research focuses on soil and water quality with particular focus on lead contamination of soil in Omaha. He also focuses his research on improving STEM education including student success/attitudes, increasing the number of STEM students, engaging more students in undergraduate research, and financial support. Dr. Richter-Egger is available for consultation regarding Sustainability topics.
