Faculty Life and Retention
The Faculty Advisory Committee focuses on faculty recruitment and retention with a goal of building and engaging and vibrant campus community where faculty life thrives.
The Faculty Advisory Committee is comprised of faculty representatives from across the campus.
The committee works closely with the Academic Affairs and is charged with identifying and prioritizing faculty recruitment and retention initiatives and establishing action plans for the campus.
Early on, the committee identified five focal areas:
- Faculty searches and recruitment
- Faculty retention, campus climate, and workplace environment
- Lived experiences of faculty in the community
- Faculty leadership and professional development
- Faculty advancement and recognition
