Academic Program Review 2023-24 Cycle

Each academic program undergoes program review every seven years in accordance with UNO’s academic policies and relevant governing requirements (e.g. Board or Regents, Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education, and the Higher Learning Commission).

Importantly, program review provides opportunities for faculty to reflect on the strengths and challenges of their academic program, consider opportunities to improve student learning and success, and develop future strategic directions for the program. The following academic programs are currently scheduled to be on the program review cycle next year (2023-2024):

  • Environmental Studies
  • Philosophy
  • Physics
  • Religion

Matt Tracy will be hosting an informational session via zoom on Apr 5 at 2:00 PM for programs on the APR cycle next year. Others who may not be on the cycle but are interested in learning more about the process are welcome as well. Please join using this zoom link.
