UNO Launches Faculty Handbook

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is excited to announce the launch of the Faculty Handbook, a resource designed to guide faculty members in navigating the structure and organization of the university, as well as the policies, processes, and resources available to faculty and students.

The Faculty Handbook is the culmination of a collaborative effort led by Academic Affairs in partnership with Faculty Senate and with input from the colleges, AAUP, and senior campus leadership. It has a detailed Table of Contents intended to facilitate navigation and it will be updated annually with revisions summarized and highlighted in the document itself.

Special acknowledgment goes to Erin Pleggenkuhle-Miles, Professor of Management and Leadership Faculty Fellow, for her efforts throughout the project. Erin's dedication to this initiative has been instrumental in ensuring the handbook’s thoroughness and accessibility, making it a truly valuable tool for our faculty community.
