Chief Adult Learning Strategist
Starting July 1, Jaci Lindburg began leading a special assignment as Chief Adult Learning Strategist focusing on the development of a vision and strategic plan for attracting, onboarding, educating, and preparing adult learners. In this role, Lindburg is tasked with leading strategic planning efforts focused on better serving and supporting adult learners at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She will also provide executive leadership for the Division of Continuing Studies, which is central to the initiative. Lindburg will continue her appointments as Associate Vice Chancellor of Innovative and Learning-Centric Initiatives for the UNO campus as well as Associate Vice President for Digital Learning and IT Strategy for the University of Nebraska ITS Division.
Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
Effective Sept. 1, Candice Batton was appointed Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. As the senior member of Senior Vice Chancellor He’s team, Batton assumes responsibility for coordinating many aspects of strategic planning within Academic Affairs and will work closely with campus partners to support and advance strategic initiatives. Batton will also continue her leadership over faculty affairs.
Assistant Vice Chancellor for Budget and Financial Analysis/Director of Academic Financial Planning
Tammy Goldsberry, MIS, MPA, will step into the role of Assistant Vice Chancellor for Budget and Financial Analysis on Nov. 1. In this role, Goldsberry will assume responsibility for overseeing many aspects of the campus budget, including budget development, maintenance and operational controls, and financial analysis with a strong emphasis on academic support. She will also oversee financial analytics and maintain the systems and data used in financial analyses, focusing on strengthening the data used in monitoring the financial health of academic departments and programs. Goldsberry will retain her role as Director of Academic Financial Planning within Academic Affairs, and in that capacity, will continue to work closely with the colleges to provide financial guidance and budget support and will also continue to support cross-division budgeting initiatives.
