UNO STEM Strategic Priorities

The STEM Strategic Plan is the product of fifty-six faculty members, department heads, administrators, students, and community partners. Together, we outlined 4 strategic priorities that will guide action for the next 5 years across the diverse STEM academic units on our campus.

  • Introduction and Methods
  • Priority 1: Grow an engaged and connected campuswide STEM community.
  • Priority 2: Expand interdisciplinary STEM research and infrastructure.
  • Priority 3: Maximize local and regional STEM networks to increase economic energy.
  • Priority 4: Effectively measure and message campus and community STEM impacts.
  • Actions & Measures

In collaboration with CAS, CEHHS, and CIST, the UNO STEM TRAIL Center operationalizes and collects success metrics for the STEM Strategic Plan.
