Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Gender Equity (CCSGE) Scholarship
This $1000 scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students who are currently enrolled and attending classes at UNO, and will graduate after the Fall 2024 semester. Applications are due February 1, 2024 at midnight.
Criteria
Applicants should make a contribution toward addressing improving the status of gender equity within the Omaha community in their academic work or activities, and/or have academic excellence in fields where there is a need for gender equity to be addressed. Students may nominate themselves.
Application Information
Applicants will be asked to provide a statement on your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as community engagement. You are encouraged to incorporate examples or instances of an experience or experiences related to your involvement. We ask that you also provide a letter of support from an individual, group, or organization that has knowledge of your contributions to women’s or gender equity issues within your community.
