Background
Jeremiah Bauer has been an adjunct instructor for the History Department since 2010. He specializes in United States political and legal history. After earning his BS (2007) and MA (2010) from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, he is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His dissertation explores civil rights in the Civil War era—specifically, how the meaning of civil rights changed during Reconstruction. Outside of academic pursuits, Mr. Bauer enjoys basketball (playing and watching) and movies.
