Background
Originally from Omaha, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in History in 2006. While pursuing my master's degree, I worked in the History Department as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from 2006-2008. My master's work focused on Native American History, and I earned a minor in Native American Studies. I have been an instructor since 2011 teaching traditional classroom, online, and hybrid courses.
Outside of academia, I read, play the piano, play racquetball, practice yoga, ride my bike, and watch Jacques Pépin cook.
