“The Effect of Problem Construction on Team Process and Creativity” by Psychology Professor Roni Reiter-Palmon and doctoral student Vignesh Murugavel was published in Frontiers in Psychology this November and was quickly featured in a Psychology Today blog. Mark Batey writes, “A new scientific study of team creative problem-solving was published last week by one of my favorite innovation researchers, Roni Reiter-Palmon with her colleague Vignesh Murugavel.”
Dr. Roni Reiter-Palmon is the Varner Professor of Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology and the Director of the I/O Psychology Graduate Program at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). She is also serves as the Director for the Center for Collaboration Science, an inter-disciplinary program at UNO. Her research focuses on creativity and innovation in the workplace, cognitive processes and individual difference variables that influence creative performance of individuals and teams, and leading creative individuals, team decision making, and organizational adoption of innovative processes.
