Joseph Price named Assistant Dean of Administration
Joseph Price, Ph.D., was named Assistant Dean of Administration for the College of Arts and Sciences, effective Jan. 4, 2021. In this role, Price will manage the processes, policies, and procedures of the College, assist in oversight of strategic initiatives, and continue working with college-level special projects.
Price has been actively involved in the UNO campus community for many years, most recently serving as the Special Projects Director for the College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Office and the Administrative Coordinator for the Master of Arts in Critical and Creative Thinking since 2015.
Price says he is looking forward to serving the College and its faculty in new meaningful ways and is humbled by the opportunity to do so.
“We are thrilled to have Joe assume responsibility for this position,” says David Boocker, Dean of the UNO College of Arts and Sciences. “Losing Joan Bell has been difficult; her knowledge of the College and its operations helped keep College administrative operations stable. Fortunately, Joe brings to the position a sustained career working in support of the College of Arts and Sciences. His knowledge of the College’s history, attention to detail and positive attitude will help everyone in the College be more effective.”
