The UNO’s Office of Latino/Latin American Studies (OLLAS) would like to take a moment to congratulate all our LLS and CLS 2020 graduates and also all UNO 2020 Latinx graduates. We are extremely proud of all your accomplishments. Although, we are truly saddened to not be able to celebrate this important milestone together because of COVID-19, so we created a special video to express how proud and overjoyed we are for you all! Special faculty recognitions were given to Dr. Mike Carroll, co-founder of Chicano/Latino Studies, who will be retiring this year. Also recognized for their dedicated teaching to our program were Dr. María Arbeláez, Dr. Ramón Guerra, Dr. Troy Romero, and Dr. Thomas Sanchez.
Congratulations to our 2012-2013 graduates: Roxana Cortés, Mariana Estrada, Natasha Mann, Gerson Manriquez, Laurenso Montalvo, Sanjuanita Murguia, María G. Olvera Hernández, Stacey Pirtle, and Deibi Sibrian.
