Focus on creativity and innovation at the individual and team level
The Creativity, Innovation, and Leadership Assessment (CILA) lab is led by Dr. Roni Reiter-Palmon. The research conducted in the lab focuses on creativity and innovation at the individual and team level. Research projects mostly focus on understanding the cognitive processes at the individual and team level, social processes, and personality and motivational factors that influence the creative problem-solving process.
Additional work focuses on how creativity skills can be developed and trained. Finally, we are interested in understanding how leaders can facilitate or hinder creativity, and developing leadership skills. The goal of all of the research is to develop practices that can facilitate creativity and innovation in organizations.
Dr. Reiter-Palmon’s lab consists of both undergraduate and graduate students who actively support and/or lead their own research projects. The lab meets biweekly to talk through ongoing research projects, as well as discuss seminal and current work in the creativity and general IO field. Dr. Reiter-Palmon’s lab places emphasis on providing undergraduate and graduate students with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities to develop their research skills and interests.
