Biography
Jeff Bredthauer, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of finance at the University of Nebraska – Omaha, in Omaha, Nebraska. His research interests include empirical asset pricing, corporate finance, behavioral finance, personal investing and pedagogy, while his teaching interests include corporate finance, investments, financial risk management and financial markets, for both undergraduate and graduate level courses. His work has been published in the Journal of Sports Economics, the International Journal of Financial Services Management, Managerial Finance, the Journal of Economics and Finance Education, the Journal of Financial Education, and the Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management. He earned his B.S. degree in engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1987), an MBA from Creighton University (2007), and a Ph.D. in Business Administration – Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2011).
