Biography
Dr. Co is the Ward Y. and George T. Lindley Professor at the College of Business Administration, University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO). Global engagement is a core activity for Dr. Co. She has made seminar presentations in Finland, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the United Kingdom, and Viet Nam. As a Fulbright U.S. Scholar to Viet Nam for 2014-15 and a Fulbright Specialist to Vietnam in 2023, Dr. Co is committed to the Fulbright program's mission "[t]o increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries by means of educational and cultural exchange."

Research Interests
Dr. Co's research focuses on linkages among the following: trade, foreign direct investment, market structure and competitiveness, intellectual property rights, environmental policy, and migration. She is also interested in understanding the spatial and temporal evolution of innovation activities and the restructuring of global production networks. More recently, she has also been interested in China's engagement with Africa via trade, investment, and engineering projects; and the performance of Vietnam's micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
