Paul Alperson - Inducted in 1991
Paul Alperson received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Omaha. His major was retailing. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 through 1954.
After graduation, Mr. Alperson began his business career as a salesman for Omaha Mannequin and Displays. In 1961, he purchased a half interest in the company. In 1971, he purchased the remaining interest and changed the name to Omaha Fixture Manufacturing, Inc.
Under Mr. Alperson, the company earned a reputation for excellence in quality and service to its customers and accomplished significant growth.
Mr. Alperson and his wife, Margie, have three children: Carol, Amy, and Joel. Joel is now company president. Mr. and Mrs. Alperson now reside in Phoenix about six or seven months of the year in their home on the 12th fairway of the Phoenician golf course.
Mr. Alperson has been actively involved in community, religious, and humanitarian affairs.
