Mark Caniglia - Inducted in 2015
Mark Caniglia spent 31 years with Cox Communications. As the vice president of the Central Region, he led marketing operations, overseeing the revenue and customer growth targets for residential and commercial business in a five-state region. The Central Region generated over $ billion in revenue with over 700,000 customers subscribing to 1,300,000 services. Caniglia’s responsibilities included leading a team of 28 marketing professionals, executing multi-tactical acquisition and retention marketing campaigns, and launching new product introductions.
Caniglia received numerous industry marketing awards during his tenure as marketing vice president at Cox. In 2009, he received the Mid-America Cable Association “Pathfinder Award” which recognizes an elite group of cable industry professionals who have made a significant impact on the industry. In 2012, he received the University of Nebraska at Omaha Distinguished Marketing Alumni recognition.
Caniglia has served on the board of directors of several organizations, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Heartland Family Service, UNO’s Executive MBA National Advisory Board, Metro Omaha Builders Association and Muscular Dystrophy Association, where he served as vice president of the board.
He is a UNO graduate and received his Executive MBA from UNO in 1998. After retiring from Cox Communications at the end of 2012, Caniglia started a marketing consulting business where he continues to focus on his passion for helping businesses grow market share.
