Daniel F. Koraleski - Inducted in 2016
Dan Koraleski is an audit partner at KPMG LLP, a Big Four public accounting firm, where he specializes in providing financial statement audit and financial consulting services to private, private equity, and public sector entities. Koraleski has been the lead partner on audits for organizations in various industries, including construction, healthcare, manufacturing, fundraising, and service companies. He also serves as Employee Benefit Resource Partner and Human Resource Partner in KPMG’s Nebraska practice.
Koraleski graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BSBA in accounting from UNO in 1986 and began his career at Arthur Andersen LLP later that year. In 2002, local operations of Arthur Andersen were acquired by KPMG LLP, and he began working for KPMG as an audit partner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Nebraska Society of CPAs. He is also a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Koraleski is a current member of the accounting advisory board for UNO, finance committee of Catholic Charities, board member of the Catholic Charities Foundation, finance committee member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, treasurer of Habitat for Humanity of Omaha, and board member for St. James Manor. Dan also spent over 10 years serving as a board member for the UNO Alumni Association.
Koraleski and his wife, Michelle, are the parents of two daughters, Samantha and Jessica.
