Nagaraj V. Mylandla - Inducted in 2013
Nagaraj Mylandla graduated in 1988 with an MBA in International Marketing and Finance from UNO’s College of Business Administration and worked briefly for First Data Corporation and ACI, both electronic payment pioneers, based in Omaha.
In 1991, equipped with banking expertise, business education from UNO and a unique vision, Nagaraj founded Financial Software & Systems (FSS), envisaging a phenomenal growth of the payments industry in India.
The Indian Subcontinent with a population of 1 billion was a virgin market as far as electronic payments was concerned with virtually no ATMs. This was a great opportunity to create a new market. Nagaraj moved to India and singularly got involved in building ground level understanding of payments among Indian banks and strategically built the company into a leader in the payments industry. Today the company is probably one of its kind in the payments industry covering an entire spectrum of related products, solutions and services.
Under the leadership of Nagaraj, FSS has become one of the largest global payment systems companies with revenues over USD 100 million, over 1500 employees, 100+ customers, and a market presence in India, North America, Australia, Europe, Middle East and Singapore.
