Tal Anderson - Inducted in 1999
Tal Anderson began his career while attending Omaha University in 1957. Two years later, he began working in the sales department at Baxter and soon became the manager of all departments in the dealership.
In 1964, he was named Vice President of Baxter and, in the same year, established Motorvest Leasing Company in Omaha.
In 1967, he became the general manager of Baxter and built his ownership interest to 49 percent. He purchased the balance of the dealership's stock in 1984. Four years later, he acquired ownership of Southroads Toyota and has also been the owner of Lexus of Omaha since 1990. In the 1990s, he purchased two other dealerships in the area. Anderson incorporated his reinsurance company, Protection Life, in 1974.
