Students who are interested in serving entrepreneurial ventures in capacities such as consultants, bankers, accountants, marketing professionals, or real estate specialists may also have an interest in this option.
The Entrepreneurship concentration has a practical emphasis designed to assist students in developing and operating their new and/or small ventures.
Courses lead students through the different processes of getting into business, address important operating issues relevant to the running of day-to-day activities of a venture, and discuss the important topic of planning for business growth and development.
Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Franchising
CIEF provides students with business fundamentals, opportunities through elevator pitch and business plan competitions, and experience running a student-owned business.
Academically, the focus is on educating students who are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial career that impacts the global business community.
The center also provides advisory services to startups and small business entities throughout the region.
