CBA Launches Mini MBA Certificate Course

OMAHA – The University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration is offering its first Mini MBA certificate course in November.
Building on the college’s longstanding Executive Education program, this new open-enrollment course will deliver a broad range of relevant knowledge that current and future managers and other professionals can apply immediately to advance their careers and impact their companies.
Scheduled for November 7–11, 2016, the course features highly experienced graduate faculty from CBA, who will share their expertise on emerging business trends and teach interactive seminars on the following topics:
- High-Performance Organizations
- Leveraging Human Capital
- Overseeing the Organization: Corporate Governance and Strategic Leadership
- Steering the Organization: Developing an Enterprise Strategy
- Making Tough Decisions: Ethical Decision-Making for Managers
- The Economics of Strategic Pricing
- Finance for the Non-Financial Executive
- Building Efficient and Productive Teams
“For nearly 20 years, we’ve been preparing customized curriculum to educate up-and-coming leaders at some of Omaha’s most successful companies,” said Bill Swanson, director of CBA’s Executive Education and Executive MBA programs. “Our new Mini MBA course extends this exclusive learning opportunity to professionals at any organization who want to deepen their business acumen.”
Participants who finish the five-day course will earn a certificate of completion, the potential for continuing education units and other incentives, including special consideration for UNO’s Executive MBA.
