OMAHA – First-year students starting college in fall 2017 are invited to apply for the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration’s Scholars Academy.
A cohort-based honors program exclusive to business students, the CBA Scholars Academy is a community where high-achieving students can develop their strengths, challenge their minds, engage with others and invest in their futures.
Benefits include:
- Scholarships — Members receive an annual scholarship of at least $2,500 and a $2,000 study abroad stipend. Most students receive additional scholarships, averaging $7,000 per scholar.
- Professional development — Students take part in a year-long mentorship program with area business leaders and get many other networking opportunities.
- Hands-on learning — Cohorts experience a study abroad trip, student-led community service projects, eight exclusive courses taught by award-winning faculty, annual retreats and more.
The application deadline is February 1, 2017. To apply, candidates must first be admitted to the UNO College of Business Administration and be coming in as freshmen for the 2017-2018 academic year.
