September 25 | Starting 5:00 PM
5:00 PM | Pitch Event | Mammel Hall
Students will present a 60-90 second pitch explaining why they'd make a great sales hire. Eight rooms will buzz with pitches to panels of sales professionals acting as judges. Sponsoring partner is Sherwin-Williams.
6:00 PM | Networking Dinner | Mammel Hall Atrium
150 students will be assigned to tables with current sales professionals. These assignments are made based on a student sales career assessment and their own preference of different sales roles. Students will discuss a common reader, Daniel Pink's To Sell is Human, and their sales roles!
7:00 PM | Sales Ethics Speaker and Pitch Finale | Mammel Hall
Students will learn about the critical component of ethics from a Union Pacific sales leader while top-scoring students from round one will give their pitch again to all assembled professionals. The night will finish with the winning pitch addressing all 150 of their peers, and all finalists will be awarded prize money.
