Alison Raszler, a senior studying Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Management at the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration, was recently awarded 2020 Great Plains Regional Collegian of the Year from Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity. Raszler represents the Gamma Eta chapter at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
According to Delta Sigma Pi, The Collegian of the Year (COY) program was established more than 40 years ago and is the highest Fraternity honor bestowed upon a collegiate member in Delta Sigma Pi. Winners are chosen based on multiple criteria, including inter-chapter Fraternity events, degree of leadership exhibited in Delta Sigma Pi, scholastic aptitude, and more.
Raszler exemplifies the values of Delta Sigma Pi, having been honored for academic excellence in supply chain management at the 2019 Beta Gamma Sigma Honors and Awards Ceremony. This year, she holds three additional honors, having been named marketing student of the year, management student of the year, and CBA student of the year. Raszler is also a member of the CBA Scholars Academy, University Honors Program, and served as president of UNO Delta Sigma Pi.
“Working with other students in multiple student organizations has given me so many opportunities to develop my leadership and people skills. Delta Sigma Pi is where I developed these skills most during my time as president,” said Raszler. “I was extremely grateful to be nominated by my chapter, and later recognized as the Regional Collegian of the Year at this year's conference. Thank you to the UNO chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, and our advisors Dr. Miles, Dr. Erickson, and Dr. Sewell. I would not be where I am today without your help.”
Congratulations, Alison. UNO CBA is proud to support your success!
