UNO CBA students and recent graduates with a concentration in Real Estate can now earn their CCIM designation at a reduced cost, thanks to a new partnership.
UNO is now a member of the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Institute’s University Fast Track program. This partnership allows UNO real estate graduates to waive the first CCIM exam (CI101: Financial Analysis), which typically costs $1,899 for non-members.
There are currently 48 other participating universities in the undergraduate program, including those offering general business, finance, and real estate programs. UNO will be the 33rd university with a real estate program (major and concentration) to join.
“We also offer the University Outreach Standard Program, allowing students to join the CCIM Institute at a discounted student rate of $55. We hope that our students can network with local commercial real estate professionals through the local CCIM chapter. Additionally, we expect to have collaborative social and education meetings with the Omaha CCIM chapter,” said Dr. Jaime Chung, Assistant Professor of Real Estate at UNO CBA.
The CCIM designation is given by the CCIM Institute to professionals who are recognized experts in the commercial and investment real estate industry. CCIMs include brokers, leasing professionals, investment counselors, asset managers, appraisers, corporate real estate executives, property managers, developers, institutional investors, commercial lenders, attorneys, and bankers.
