Mammel Hall – The University of Nebraska at Omaha’s College of Business Administration rose 44 places to rank No. 144 out of 540 business schools in this year’s U.S. News and World Report Undergraduate Business Program Ranking, solidifying its standing as a premier institution for undergraduate business education.
CBA also ranked for the first time in one U.S. News’ undergraduate program sub-rankings. It ranks No. 255 in Undergraduate Economics Programs.
“This achievement is a testament to the College of Business Administrations’ impact on its students and recognizes the dedication of our faculty, staff, and supporters,” says Dean Michelle W. Trawick. “We take pride in both our high-quality educational offerings and our innovative approach to supporting students as they pursue their academic goals here at UNO.”
This year’s rankings followed a new methodology geared toward metrics measuring social mobility, faculty research and recent graduate success. Graduation rates and peer assessments also significantly impacted placement, among other factors.
The rankings and reputations were determined through a U.S. News survey, which each year asks business school deans and senior faculty to rate public and private undergraduate business programs accredited by the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International. The College of Business Administration, including its MBA and Executive MBA, is AACSB-accredited in business and accounting, a standard earned by fewer than 200 universities worldwide.
UNO’s College of Business Administration offers four graduate degrees, dual degree options, graduate certificates, and executive education programs.
