Biography
Dr. Marie Rubis Bauer has taught organ and harpsichord at the University of Nebraska at Omaha since 2019, and has performed throughout the United States and in Europe including at conferences of the American Guild of Orgamists, Association of Lutheran Church Musicians, Musforum, Organ Historical Society, National Association of Pastoral Musicians, and on Pipedreams.
She is Director of Music for Saint Cecilia Cathedral in the Archdiocese of Omaha, Nebraska. Since its inauguration in 2003, she has been steward of the Pasi Opus 14 organ as cathedral organist. In the 2020-21 pandemic, she has launched a series of weekly spiritual concerts on the Pasiorgan, Beauty and Hope, which continues live and online on the First Friday of the month.
