The School of Music's University Band and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble invite the public to an exciting evening of music by Omar Thomas, Catherine Likhuta, Kevin Day, Katahj Copley, Aakash Mittal, and others.

Featured on the program will be the Heartland Marimba Quartet on works by Scott Joplin and Louis Gottschalk. This ensemble, which includes Ujjal Bhattacharyya, Matthew Coley, Marco Schirripa and Hannah Weaver (UNO Coordinator of Percussion), seeks to give a platform to the music of American composers in its programming and continues to expand its repertoire with works from composers worldwide.

Conductors include Dr. Karen Fannin, Dr. Joshua Kearney, graduate conductor Ben Coatney, and undergraduate conductor Nathan Novak.
