Audition for OAYO

  1. UNO
  2. Omaha Area Youth Orchestras
  3. Join OAYO

Mid-Season Auditions for OAYO's 2025-26 Season will be opening soon!

Students will be placed in the ensemble that is the best fit for them based on:

  1. Their audition
  2. Balancing instrumentation between the ensembles (woodwinds, brass, and percussion).

OAYO strives to place each student in an ensemble that is the best fit for their demonstrated skill level.

Mid-season auditions will open in early November, and close on December 28th. Admittance decisions will be sent out on a rolling basis: we cannot gurantee that audition spots will be available through the end of auditions, so get yours in as soon as you can!

The list of instruments we are accepting auditions for and audition instructions/materials can be found on our Audition Materials page.
