Audition for OAYO

  1. UNO
  2. Omaha Area Youth Orchestras
  3. Join OAYO

Mid-Season Auditions for OAYO's 2025-26 Season are now open!

Students will be placed in the ensemble that is the best fit for them based on:

  1. Their audition
  2. Balancing instrumentation between the ensembles (strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion).

OAYO strives to place each student in an ensemble that is the best fit for their demonstrated skill level.

Mid-season auditions are now open, and close on December 28th.The list of instruments we are accepting auditions for and audition instructions/materials can be found on our Audition Materials page.

Admittance decisions will be sent out on a rolling basis: we cannot gurantee that audition spots will be available through the end of auditions, so we encourage you to audition soon!

Are mid-season auditions not open for your instrument? We'll have auditions open to everyone in the spring for our 2026-27 season! Join our email list to receive audition information.
