Dr. Majid Jadidi
- Biomechanics, Assistant Professor
General Information
Biography
Dr. Majid Jadidi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomechanics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. With a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a specialization in biomedical engineering, his research bridges engineering, biology, and computer science to study the mechanics, structure, and biology of human arteries. His work focuses on understanding vascular biomechanics, the effects of aging, sex, and risk factors on arterial health, and developing innovative tools and models for vascular repair, including medical devices, diagnostic tools, and therapeutic strategies.
Teaching Interests
