General Information
Teaching Interests
I have taught a variety of classes including exercise physiology, bioenergetics, and biostatistics.
Research Interests
My research focuses on the role of oxidative stress and environmental contaminants/stress (cigarette smoke) in mediating vascular and skeletal muscle bioenergetics abnormalities. I also investigate pharmacologic and lifestyle (e.g. heat therapy) strategies to improve mobility and health in clinical populations, with the ultimate goal of reducing disease burden.
