The CADRE Project
The CADRE Project is a nationally recognized program designed for newly certified elementary or secondary teachers.
The project provides an opportunity for teachers to complete an accelerated master's program while receiving support from UNO faculty, veteran teachers, and other first-year teachers. The program centers around the exchange of knowledge and services between UNO and participating local school districts by placing fully licensed CADRE Teachers in classrooms throughout the participating districts.
The Teacher Academy Project (TAP)
The Teacher Academy Project (TAP) is a secondary education certification program designed for individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree (a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7) and aspire to become a teacher.

Collaboration & Community
MOEC brings together teachers and administrators from local public school districts with faculty from the College of Education, University of Nebraska at Omaha, to:
- Share resources and expertise
- Conduct joint research and evaluation
- Enhance the problem solving capacity of the member organizations
- Address common problems
- Offer joint staff development opportunities
- Improve the professional preparation of educators
- Improve the education of area youth
- Coordinate joint projects
