Our Mission
The mission of the Sports Medicine and Biomechanics Lab at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is to conduct and disseminate innovative research related to human movement to help reduce injury risk and increase performance in a variety of sports and physical activities.
Who We Are
Our multidisciplinary lab combines expertise from both scientific and clinical backgrounds from a variety of healthcare disciplines to help answer research questions related to sports medicine and biomechanics.
Athletic trainers, biomechanists, physicians, and exercise scientists collaborate on projects across the sports and physical activity spectrum. Faculty from the Department of Biomechanics and the School of Health and Kinesiology work collaboratively to research important questions.
