**Applications for the Teacher Academy Project (TAP) program will be accepted beginning November 15, 2024 and through April 15, 2025 for the 2025 cohort.**

Application Requirements
Before beginning the application process, all potential candidaates must meet with Dr. Jeni Langfeldt and have their transcripts analyzed by her PRIOR to applying to the program.
All applicants must meet UNO admission requirements for Graduate Studies. Submission of a completed TAP application is required for admission to the program. All application materials will be shared with hiring districts, and districts will select candidates for interviews. TAP candidates must be selected and hired by a district in order to participate in the TAP programs.
- You must hold a B.S. or a B.A. (a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7).
- Complete endorsement coursework:
- For the TAP Residency pathway, 75% of endorsement coursework must be completed prior to the June program start date.
- For the TAP Para pathway, all endorsement coursework must be completed prior to the June program start date.
- Be admitted to the UNO College of Graduate Studies - M.S. in Secondary Education - TAP Concentration. Apply to grad school at UNO.
- Have taken or have an anticipated date to take the Praxis II Subject Assessment in endorsement area.
- Submit all application materials via the Para & Residency Application. Applicants will be asked to attach unofficial transcripts from all universities/colleges attended and an updated résumé.
- Pass a required background check (responsibility of your hiring district).
- Interview with TAP Director.
- Adhere to district application and interview process. Candidates who receive job offers from more than one district are able to select the best fit position.
- Attend the TAP orientation in May after acceptance.
