General Information
Biography
Dr. Perez obtained his Ph. D. (2011) and M.Sc. (2009) degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of South Florida (Tampa, FL). His undergraduate studies are in Systems Engineering from Universidad del Norte - Barranquilla (Colombia) in 2006. Prior to joining the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Dr. Perez taught CS/IT courses in universities in Florida, New Mexico and Georgia. Dr. Perez is an IEEE Senior member and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Inventors.
