Distance Tutoring via Zoom
We offer tutoring during all of our hours of operation both in person and over Zoom. Tutoring is still offered during normal hours of operation subject to tutor availability. Follow the directions above to submit a ticket and then join the Zoom meeting.
Drop-in Tutoring
The CSLC offers drop-in tutoring without an appointment during normal hours of operation for courses in the College of IS&T. Tutoring for the class you are looking for may depend on who is available when you stop by. We can always try and assist in helping walk through your code, though may need to refer you to another time when a tutor for the course is available. In general, we try to have some support the following courses at all times:
- CSCI 1200 – CS Principles
- CIST 1300 – Web Development
- CIST 1400 – Intro to CS
- CSCI 1620 – Intro to CS II
- CSCI 2030 – Foundations of CS
- CSCI 2240 – C Programming
- CSCI 3320 – Data Structures
Tutoring may be available for other classes (including ISQA 3310, CYBR 2250, etc.) at specific times. You can join the Zoom meeting and ask if any tutors are available for your class before creating a ticket in those circumstances.
Private Tutoring Sessions
Weekly hour-long tutoring sessions are available to students struggling with course material. These will focus on core course material and are not intended as a time to work on homework. These are only intended for students who have tried coming to drop-in tutoring and have not found success when doing so.
Private tutoring requests currently require a Microsoft for Students account to fill out the request form.
