Biography
My name is Ash Ashokan and I am an Instructor in the Department of Computer Science at UNO. I have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a master's in Computer Science.
Prior to joining the academia, I worked in the technology industry in companies such as Wipro Technologies, Microsoft and Union Pacific where I enjoyed using programming and related technology to solve real world problems relevant to each company business.
In addition to being a full-time instructor, I am pursuing a doctorate degree from UNO and my research interests include web search algorithms, fair machine learning and recommender systems.
