The UNOAI Golf Classic started in 1996 as a fundraiser to provide scholarships for our students. In 2013, the Aviation Institute and Jet Linx Aviation teamed up to help endow a scholarship in memory of Robb Azer, a UNO student that was set to graduate and just accepted a job with Jet Linx when he was killed in a motorcycle accident. The Jet Linx Aviation Institute Golf Classic was born. To date, more than $535,000 has been raised through the annual golf tournament and we could not do it without the generous support of our sponsors. The Golf Classic has endowed three scholarships, continues to fund three additional scholarships each year and provides funding for other student opportunities.
