Professional Asian Pilots Association (PAPA) is a nonprofit organization, established with the goal of supporting members of the Asian community in all fields of aviation.
The chapter has organized and attended various aviation tours, including visits to the OMA ATC tower, the OMA Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Department, Duncan Aviation, and Textron Aviation facilities (Cessna/Beechcraft).
Members of PAPA have plenty of opportunities to expand their social networks and get a head start in advancing their careers. The UNO chapter hosts meetings and social events, featuring alumni guest speakers, boba socials, and cookouts. Additionally, students can be mentored by PAPA career professionals, connect with national organization members online, and apply for PAPA scholarships to help offset educational costs.
Every summer, PAPA hosts a conference in Las Vegas. The event features representatives and recruiters from numerous aerospace companies, guest speakers, panel sessions, and Asian cultural education activities.
