Dr. Martinez has worked in law enforcement since 2011.
He currently serves as a Lieutenant with the North Dakota Highway Patrol. He is the Training Director for the North Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy.
He has also worked for the Nevada Attorney General's Office as a Criminal Investigator. While with the Nevada AG's Office, he was part of the Tobacco Unit, General Fraud Unit, and a member of the FBI's Joint Terrorism Taskforce.
Dr. Martinez's expertise and areas of interest include women in policing, courts, and corrections.
