Professional Experience and Expertise
As a retired criminal justice practitioner, Rebecca Price has almost 30 years experience with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ). This experience covers various facets of corrections to include correctional officer, counsel substitute, sociologist, offender classification and offender rehabilitation programs. She retired in 2014 as the Deputy Director for Rehabilitation Programs where she was responsible for the oversight of multiple TDCJ offender programs (substance abuse, sex offender, prostitution, pre-release, violent offenders, mother and baby bonding, chaplaincy, college program liaison and volunteer coordination).
