All BMS students must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of 120 credit hours is required for degrees, with at least 24 of the last 48 hours earned at UNO
- A minimum of 30 hours in upper level (3000 or 4000 level) coursework; at least 12 credit hours in the major must be earned at UNO
- Overall cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.00, calculated based on all courses taken in the University of Nebraska (NU) system
- Grade of C- in all coursework applied towards the University General Education curriculum and in major coursework
