UNO's Eta Beta Chapter
Alpha Sigma Lambda’s aim is to recognize the special achievements of adults who accomplish academic excellence. ASL strives to celebrate the achievements of adult learners while they work to complete their degree.
The Eta Beta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda was established on the University of Nebraska, Omaha campus in 1990 and is the oldest chapter in the State of Nebraska. Each year, during Nontraditional Student Week, held during the first week of November, we host a new member induction ceremony and reception to recognize and honor our high achieving students. Nomination into Alpha Sigma Lambda is determined by criteria (below). There is no membership cost to students who accept nomination into the Eta Beta chapter.
Student Membership Criteria:
Membership is strictly by invitation from the Eta Beta Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. In order to be considered for membership students must have completed a minimum of twenty-four (24) graded semester hours at UNO and enrolled in the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary (BMS) program with a cumulative GPA of a 3.25 or greater at time of nomination.
