Morozov works at the Lock Haven Univeristy. He currently researches Public Economics, Public Finance and International Economics. His most recent publication is "Evolution of Excise Taxation in the USA Since the Great Recession" published in Public Finance and Management.
Morozov earned his PhD with concentration in Public Finance and Budgeting in 2009. He is an active member of national and international academic and professional societies such as American Society for Public Administration (ASPA), The Association for Budgeting and Financial Management (ABFM), Western Social Science Association (WSSA), and Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
He held elected positions in academic and professional organizations (e.g. WSSA [co-chair of the Public Finance Section], AGA [member of the AGA Board of directors in the position of Director of Education]).
Dr. Morozov’ research and teaching interests include Public Administration, Public Policy, Public and Not-for-Profit Budgeting, Public and Not-for-Profit Financial Management, Public and Not-for-Profit Strategic Planning and Management, and Comparative Budgeting and Financial Management. He published in national and international academic outlets such as Business Case Journal, Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting, and Financial Management, The NISPAcee Journal of Public Administration and Policy, and Handbook of Unethical Work Behavior: Implications for Individual Well-being. His work on strategic management appears in the leading textbooks on in the field (e.g. Strategy: Winning in the Marketplace: Core Concepts, Analytical Tools, Cases, (2005), Strategic Management: Theory and Practice, 2e, (2005), Crafting and Executing Strategy (2007)).
