Alumni Update
Since earning my MS in Urban Studies at UNO, I’ve continued to serve as Executive Director of inCOMMON Community Development. inCOMMON is an Omaha-based nonprofit that alleviates poverty at a root level by uniting and strengthening vulnerable neighborhoods. A recent accomplishment of our organization has been the expansion of our work into a second neighborhood. It has been an incredible privilege to partner with neighbors in strengthening vulnerable neighborhoods so that every child has the chance to grow up in a safe, thriving, and opportunity-rich environment . The understanding and experience I've gained through the MSUS and PA programs have been indescribably valuable in my role at inCOMMON; in fact, I have the opportunity to utilize both of my capstone projects in my work on a regular basis.
Alumni Fun Fact
