Rich Swayze is back at the FAA as Deputy Associate Administrator for Airports after being the Director of Policy for Delta Airlines. Previously he was the Assistant Administrator for Policy, International Affairs, and Environment at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Prior to joining the FAA, Rich Swayze was the Professional Staff Member for the Aviation Operations, Safety, and Security Subcommittee of the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation where he handled FAA issues, and aviation issues related to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). Before joining the Senate, Mr. Swayze worked for the Government Accountability Office (GAO) leading transportation research projects.
